Jet Engine
The exhibit is on display in a new, large hangar reminiscent of a cold war hangar - or shelter. The exhibit shows you when the jet engine was developed. In the interactive test cabin, you'll discover how its technology works.
In the briefing room you see and hear why jet engine aircraft were needed in the 1940s. Then you enter a test cabin where you are explained how a jet engine works.

6 jet fighters
Step into the hall with the very first Dutch jet fighter, a Gloster Meteor. With light and sound you are told everything about this special aircraft. This is followed by the large exhibition hall, where you can admire 3 more historic aircraft: the Fokker S.14 Machtrainer, the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter and the Hawker Hunter. Here you can also generate your pilot tag, take a picture in a real fighter jet cockpit, test your knowledge at the quiz and fly yourself in one of the simulators.
Finally, 2 historic Cold War jet fighters, a Mikoyan-Goerevich MiG-21 and a Saab 37 Viggen, are waiting outside.
