Exhibition first intercontinental flight
Aviodrome presents an exhibition on the 100th anniversary of the first intercontinental flight, a historic event in aviation. The H-NACC, a Fokker F.VII aircraft, then flew from the Netherlands to the Dutch East Indies, laying the foundation for later scheduled flights between continents. In the Schiphol building, visitors discover the special history of this pioneering flight.
Back in time
This exhibition takes visitors into the story of this flight in words and images, showing how the crew overcame various challenges. Pilot Van der Hoop's book serves as a guide and is supported by photographs and original objects such as medals, cups and gifts the crew received after the flight. Fokker's H-NACC aircraft is also on display at Aviodrome.
