Aviodrome Space Academy Seeks Astronauts
During the Fall Break from October 13 to 28, Aviation Theme Park Aviodrome is looking for children who want to know all about space travel. In cooperation with the National Space Museum, Aviodrome offers its visitors the opportunity to obtain a space license.

Visitors follow a real "space course" during the fall break. This consists of a scavenger hunt with questions about history, in addition, experiments can be done in an equipped laboratory. "By introducing children to technology in a playful way, we hope to inspire them. The youth has the future and it is wonderful if we can contribute to that," said Zeholy Pronk, chairman of the Space Museum.
Relationship between aerospace central
Many relationships can be discovered between aerospace and space travel. For example, aircraft are used while training astronauts and a Boeing 747 is used to return a mis-landed Space Shuttle to its home base. "Those connections we bring to light, space travel is often closer than you think."
Only during fall break
Various areas of the museum will test knowledge, vision, math, flight skills and responsiveness in different sections. Upon successful completion of all components, the space license is issued as proof of participation in Space Academy.
Space Academy will be held from October 13 to 28 at Aviation Theme Park Aviodrome. Participation is included with admission to Aviodrome. Museumcard holders have free access.
