Aviodrome pilot training course delivers 25,000th pilot

The pilot training program at Aviation Theme Park Aviodrome in Lelystad is a resounding success. Since its launch in April, thousands of children have already gone up for their pilot's license. On September 5, Aviodrome even expects to welcome the 25,000th Aviodrome pilot.

The 25,000th pilot will, of course, be hugely pampered. He or she receives a pilot's cap, an inflatable airplane, free tickets to Aviodrome and a super-sized pilot's license!

Pilot training

If children successfully complete five tasks during their visit to the Aviation Theme Park, they will receive their Aviodrome pilot's license at the end of the day. Children earn a pilot's license when they demonstrate the qualities of a real pilot. Their skills are tested during a flight test, signal test, knowledge test, eye test and a steering test.
