The world's largest Flight Simulator event at Aviodrome

During the weekend of November 3 and 4, Aviation Theme Park Aviodrome will be all about virtual flying during the Flight Simulator weekend. During this now iconic event, the art of virtual flying takes center stage, and hobbyists and specialists from various countries show off their techniques.

Flying without a license

With reconstructed cockpits and special simulation software, real flying is approached as realistic as possible. A wide variety of flight simulators will be on display throughout the weekend. From self-built moving cockpits, where each part has a special story, to full replicas of cockpits for 3 people. Visitors can additionally experience what it is like to virtually fly themselves, no license required.

International hobby

"It is wonderful to see that clubs and companies come again to exhibit their latest creations with us, so many many hobbyists can feast their eyes" says Lars Janssen, event organizer of the Aviodrome. "Every year we see enthusiasm from different countries. Participants from Switzerland, Romania, England and America know to find their way to the polder. This international audience creates a very special and unique atmosphere within our park." In addition to the cockpits on display and the presence of the various sim clubs, visitors can participate in an aviation quiz and various presentations will also take place. These include presentations on the latest developments in software and what is involved in running a virtual airport.

The Flight Simulator Weekend will take place November 3 & 4 at Aviodrome. The event is included in an admission ticket to Aviodrome. Museum Year Card holders have free admission.
