Fly-In: Rescue Heroes at Aviodrome Aviation Museum

Fly-In: Rescue Heroes returns at Aviodrome Aviation Museum. This year the successful annual event lands in Lelystad on Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18. Children will find plenty of entertainment and even run into the characters from PAW Patrol. Special historical airplanes will come flying to Aviodrome. And throughout the day there are many different challenging activities for young and old. Activities that will bring out the hero in visitors.

During the weekend, aDC-3 Dakota repeatedly starting its engines. Once the Dakota takes off then as a spectator you can see the sheer power. Visitors can even fly along if they book a paid seat in advance through www.dutchdakota.nl. Here though, full is full.

From Germany comes an authentic and shinyLockheed L12 from 1937 flown. The fly-in is the first event the owners have participated in with this aircraft. In this type, Dutch aviator Frederik Pelder, escaped many an enemy during World War II in Asia. A special story that visitors are sure to learn more about.

On the platform is also DC-2 Uiver to admire and unique aircraft come flying in from all over the country towards Aviodrome.

All activities, except flying in the Dakota, are included in a regular entrance ticket to Aviodrome and holders of the Museum Card or BankGiro Lottery VIP Card have free entry.
