Flight Simulator Weekend: get behind the baton of an F-16

The eleventh edition of the world's largest Flight Simulator event will take place the weekend of Nov. 7 and 8 at Aviation Theme Park Aviodrome. Visitors to Aviodrome will once again have the chance to experience what it feels like to be a pilot of a Boeing 747 or an F-16, for example.

Demonstrations The Flight Simulator Weekend is an initiative of Aviodrome in cooperation with various organizations and clubs involved in flight simulation. In addition to the simulators present, various other activities will take place and it is also possible to follow various workshops.

Virtual

Virtual flying on the computer will be elevated to art during this weekend. There are several demonstrations focused on creating and designing virtual cockpits, aircraft and color schemes. It is also possible to fly yourself and perform missions using these simulators.

Technology behind the simulators

There are also cockpit builders present who are happy to show visitors their creations. Each part that the builders have used has a special story to go with it. (Beginning) hobbyists can also purchase parts/accessories to build their own flight simulator.

Hobby

For those who always wanted to know how a flight simulator program is developed, a (technical) team will be present to explain all projects. Moreover, at the many stands many a 'FlightSimmer' will get his heart's content from the wide range of stuff for this hobby.

Aviodrome will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Flight Simulator Weekend.
