Aviodrome Aviation Museum wins bronze in Leukste uitje election

Aviodrome Aviation Museum has won third prize in ANWB's Leukste uitje election. The museum was told this on Thursday during a digital meeting.

The outings were rated by voters in terms of price/quality, atmosphere, facilities, staff and offerings.

Acknowledgment
General manager of the Aviation Museum, Serena van Kammen, is proud of the bronze medal. "We look back on a tough year, in which we had to close our doors several times, but fortunately we were also able to give people a beautiful day during this time. It is therefore very nice to hear that our visitors appreciate us so much and voted us to this award. We therefore hope to be able to reopen soon so we can give even more people a nice outing."

It is the eleventh time that the ANWB presents the funniest getaway awards. This year more than 80,000 people cast their votes in the categories 'province' and 'national' (for attractions with more than 450,000 visitors per year). This resulted in a top three in all categories.
