T2 restoration hangar

Behind the large doors of the T2 hangar, you will find a special part of the Aviodrome Aviation Museum collection. Aircraft are maintained and restored here, such as the Fokker S IV and the Noorduyn Norseman.

In this hangar are aircraft that are still airworthy or being worked on to become airworthy. Here you can see the iconic DC-2 Uiver, but also the PH-PBA DC-3 which was flown by the royal family. Or how about the 4 Fokker S11 of the Fokker Four Foundation that have their home in this hangar.

You will find many information boards on how aircraft maintenance and restoration is done. Via the walkway you have a fantastic overview of the aircraft and the huge storage area.

The T2 Hangar at Aviation Museum Aviodrome is recreated in the shape and atmosphere of a 1940 British Air Force hangar. So while in this hangar you watch restoration work on aircraft, in this building you simultaneously take steps into history.
