Dry Sea Generic Simulator
The 'Dry Sea' simulator has been used in research on human factors, new cockpit instruments and approach procedures. Through Aviation Museum Aviodrome, the simulator has now been converted to flying a Boeing 737.
The Dry Sea Generic Simulator was built in the late 1950s for KLM and served until 1972 to train DC-7 pilots. It carried the name "Dry Sea" here. Later, it was also called the Research Flight Simulator (RFS). This simulator was taken over by the NLR. Only the modified cockpit of this went into service in 1980 and was later rebuilt several times.
Minimum length of 1.60 metres.

Outdoor SIMULATOR
Want to experience a spectacular flight without having to steer yourself? Step into the Aviodrome outdoor simulator and feel the sensation of takeoff, turbulence and speed as if you were really in the air. With realistic images, moving seats and powerful sound, this is an experience not to be missed.
The simulator is less suitable for young children and the elderly because of its unexpected movements.
In bad weather, such as strong winds or extreme temperatures, the simulator will remain closed.
