Flight Simulator weekend
21 and 22 March 2026
Aviodrome is completely dedicated to virtual flying during the weekend of 21 and 22 March. The entire museum will be full of flight simulators, recreated cockpits and the latest software to fly around the world in any type of aircraft. 200 participants and manufacturers, from all over the world, will then come to Aviodrome in Lelystad for the largest flight simulator event in the world! And of course, you as visitors may also fly a round in the various simulators. With a regular ticket to Aviodrome, you have access to them all.

Practical information
By public transport
To avoid long queues at parking, we recommend coming to the Flight Sim Weekend by public transport. From Lelystad Station, Aviodrome is easy to reach. From Lelystad Centrum, RRReis line 7 runs to Aviodrome stop. Connexxion line 207 (from Lelystad or Harderwijk) also stops at stop ‘Eendenweg/Vliegveld’, a 5-minute walk from the Aviodrome.

By car
Parking within a short walking distance from Aviodrome is limited. You can park in car park P2. There are also 2 disabled parking spaces available at P2 and 4 charging stations for electric cars. Parking spaces are also available at P1, opposite the General Aviation terminal, Arendweg 7; from there you can walk to Aviodrome in 5 minutes.
The parking rate is €7.50 per day for P1 and P2.
Additional car park
During the Flight Sim Weekend, an additional car park will be open on Anthony Fokkerweg. On Anthony Fokkerweg, follow the sign ‘P-Lelystad Departure and Arrival’. From here it is about a 2-kilometre walk along Larserpad to Luchtvaartmuseum Aviodrome.
Free shuttle buses also run between this car park and Aviation Museum Aviodrome. The charge for this car park is 4.50 per car. Payable only by PIN.

Food and drinks
A successful event also involves food and drink. During the Flight Simulator weekend, you don't have to walk around with an empty stomach, because several catering outlets are open with a varied offer.
The Galley is the place for a quick bite, including chips, snacks, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. For lovers of a hearty lunch, The Mes offers delicious Unox sandwiches and hot ham on the bone. Fancy something different? At Connie's Corner you can enjoy a pulled chicken or chicken gyros sandwich. A good cup of coffee is not to be missed! At the Coffee Bar you can get the most delicious hot drinks, accompanied by a tasty cake.
Accommodation
Lelystad has several hotels in different price ranges.
Are you coming with a camper van? Then overnight camping is not allowed on the Aviodrome car park. Check the website of the Municipality of Lelystad for more information on camping sites.
Closed attractions
Due to the Flight Simulator Weekend, the outdoor attractions (Avio Airport Cycle Track and Simulator Film) are closed. The 4D film will also not be shown this weekend.
