The spill writer
A volunteer from Stichting Collectie Aviodrome has restored a morse writer from 1878. The device was used to test the morse skills of telegraphers in training, including military personnel, and to transmit messages on paper. January 11 is "Learn Your Name in Morse Code" day. Morse was first demonstrated on this day in 1835 by its inventor.
The Grumman S-2 Tracker
Aviation Museum Aviodrome has in its collection an old Royal Navy Grumman Tracker. This historic aircraft, once used to track and fight submarines, was made partially operational by volunteers, with working right engine and hydraulic systems for folding the wings. Together with an original aircraft tractor, the Tracker is a valuable addition to the museum's collection.
